Liars and Lunatics
I thought CNN was the “real” news channel not the world of lies and spin. (Just Kidding) It’s funny to see their counter part from Al-Arabiya Mr. Hisham Melhem making things up like
Gone are the combustible words that President Bush used to use like Islamo Fascism.
First, I don’t remember Bush talking bad about Islam. I mean the first days after 9-11 wasn’t Bush going on and on about “Islam the religion of peace” nonsense? Obama isn’t doing anything different. He is still sending a mixed message.
Also, this whole “we’re not at war with Islam” bit is kind of odd. Who are we at war against? I thought we were at war with sects of Islam that believed it was their duty to destroy us? I thought we were at war with Islamic Terrorists? Or are we just at war against terrorists? Or are we not at war anymore? This news guy is a liar and President Obama and the people that are giving weight to his words are lunatics.
Again, Mr. Melhem says,
I was not very surprised because of the impact and the legacy of 9/11… that created enmity in the Arab world and Muslim world and misunderstanding in the United States. There is unfamiliarity in America with the Muslim world and there is ignorance.
This is a lie and those that listen are lunatics. See how CNN and Mr. Melhem say that enmity from the Islamic world are the fault of American ignorance. Even 9-11 and all the things that followed it caused further enmity. I would imagine that this man would say 9-11 was our own fault.
Because certain groups of Islam want to kill us our response should be to learn more about Islam. If somebody breaks into my home to kill me, my wife, and my children should I defend my family or try to “understand” the killer. This man and by extension of the discussion I’d say that Obama too would say that we should not defend ourselves. We should not be at war against certain groups of Islam. We are at war against certain groups of Islam. Those that believe certain sections of the Koran have value and meaning in todays world need to be fought. It is not ignorance that causes one to defend ones family. Often time it is knowledge that causes one to prepare for the attack before it happens when one realizes the corruption inherent in many parts of Islamic religion.

Thanks for stopping by my site. I know, between being a husband, father to four, helping run a multimillion dollar health organization, and more, where do I find the time? Right! I realized several years ago that time managment was not outside my life but actually is life because life is made up of time and that is all. In order to be truly free one must manage their time in detail.
Hehehe. I like how you said that in the end. I do time management myself. But how I spend my time? well, I don’t become bitter. From what I see here, you are not spending your time wisely. Where is the freedom from fear mongering and hatred? What purpose does it serve on something that will never be written in the pages of history? Time changes and so is position of political views. At first, I was bitter, sarcastic, conservative. But now, I cast that away, and would rather stay centric (still don’t like liberals, but don’t like Conservatives either). I spend my time on literature and art, not fear mongering and paranoia.

Yesterday, Sean Hannity was blathering on about “Radical Islam”, saying that Obama was right about not being at war with Islam, and shifting it to “Radical Islam”. Sean Hannity was spewing feces!
No such entity exists. Islam is Islam, defined by Moe in the Qur’an and exemplified by Moe in Islam’s oral tradition, the hadith. Those two documents are the primary sources of Islamic law.

O9.8: The Objectives of Jihad
The caliph (o25) makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians (N: provided he has first invited them to enter Islam in faith and practice, and if they will not, then invited them to enter the social order of Islam by paying the non-Muslim poll tax (jizya, def: o11.4) -which is the significance of their paying it, not the money itself-while remaining in their ancestral religions) (O: and the war continues) until they become Muslim or else pay the non-Muslim poll tax (O: in accordance with the word of Allah Most High,

the time and place for which is before the final descent of Jesus (upon whom be peace). After his final coming, nothing but Islam will be accepted from them, for taking the poll tax is only effective until Jesus’ descent (upon him and our Prophet be peace), which is the divinely revealed law of Muhammad. The coming of Jesus does not entail a separate divinely revealed law, for he will rule by the law of Muhammad. As for the Prophet’s saying (Allah bless him and give him peace),
“I am the last, there will be no prophet after me,”
this does not contradict the final coming of Jesus (upon whom be peace), since he will not rule according to the Evangel, but as a follower of our Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) ).

For the last answer, read O9.1, from which I quote the vital part.
In the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) jihad was a communal obligation after his emigration (hijra) to Medina. As for subsequent times, there are two possible states in respect to non-Muslims.
The first is when they are in their own countries, in which case jihad (def: o9.8) is a communal obligation, and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, “Jihad is a communal obligation,” meaning upon the Muslims each year.
Wake up! Wise up!! Rise up!!! Disrespectfully demand a complete and permanent end to the spew of lies and treason from our elected leaders.
You say your not bitter but I’m “fear mongering, hatred, and sicking propaganda”. Interesting perspective there. Be careful how you judge how I’m spending my time in a 2 minute post or a 30 second response.
The freedom from fear and hatred is choosing to look where and at what you wish. While I ask where is the freedom to hate? Isn’t hatered an emotion? Doesn’t the word “hate crime” sicken one to the core? It should if you have an ounce of intelligence. After all shouldn’t I be allowed to hate? (Although you fail to point out what I hate and I actually hate very little) Where is the freedom to point out what one is afraid of. Fear often prepares the mind and body for action. It is the soldier that runs into combat without fear that will be the first casuality and will not be there for his brothers. Fear and hatred are important parts of life. Fear and hatred are often parts of the pages of history. The Jews lack of fear of Hilter kept them from making moves to escape his clutches in many a case. A lack of righteous hatred and the atrocities commited over the centuries have informed the footnote of history where “all it takes for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing”.
I am not a freedom thinker I am “The Freedom Thinker”. And I am free to tell the truth? What in my post was propaganda? You are the one that “claims” I’m not spending my time wisely but fail to back it up with any proof of this claim this is actually propaganda.
