Pervasive Ignorance – Part 2 – The Godless
Atheists don’t force conversions, Christians do…as history indicates.
I read this before leaving work on Friday and just thought, “Wow! More pervasive ignorance out there.” How many people have died for Darwin’s survival of the fittest, Stalin, Mao, etc, yet because of peoples ignorance they make such ill informed conclusions.
Yes, Christians have done some bad and stupid things in the past. Thankfully, the church has grown up a little from it’s day’s of oppression. But the tyranny of godless tyrannts and their fear of the Church has never grown up; as is blatent in this childish post. I know I can get angry and hateful sometimes at the ignorance that pervades our society. Some people though, like this one, are blatently posting in angry because of their own ignorance and not at ignorance.
Freedom comes from God, logical thought, hardwork, and those around us to name a few things. If we ever want to change the world we must confront the pervasive ignorance that surrounds us. Especially when it challenges the metaphysical reality that surrounds us, common sense, the principles of success, and the families, friends, and communities that surround us.
