PREDICTION: Obama a One Term President
I think unfortunately Obama will be a one term President but that what ever Republican comes next won’t be strong enough to fix or undo anything Obama has done.
Obama is a poor leader as I’ve documented. I think he has bad direct communications skills and he is placing people in jobs they aren’t cut out at doing. It’s funny to see them all running around in circules as AmericanMissive.com points out.
Not only is he a bad leader his policies will lead to inflation, a flat economy (I see high unemployement at least out another year), higher taxes, and weaker foreign relations with our Allies and enemies. (Even though he bows to Muslims and buddies up to dictators). The economy is going to tank again I’m thinking 2011 (before it has a chance to fully recover) but it could be sooner (the baby boomers are starting to retire and this will being drawing down investments and savings) Obama is going to spend himself into a corner. He’s going to be forced to raise taxes BIG time this along with inflation. Meanwhile the Middle East will get louder again after Obama has weakened us and embolden those like Hamas. I think he is going to have multiple messes on his hands. Unlike Clinton who was also a smooth talker his need to “fix” Medicare/Medicaid and Social Security are pressing. The baby boomers are in for some surprises.
Just to hedge a little bit. The real variables are two things. Obama can further change the road map buy putting more people on the government dollar. If he can buy enough votes he just might have a chance. The second real variable is the Republican party and it is the larger variable they control their own destiny. A lot will depend on their ability to communicate the facts of what Obama and that ideology are truly about – oppression, fascism, power, greed, and control. If the Republican party comes out with a STRONG right wing candidate that seeks to back the government out of our lives, scale back the massive entitlement programs, and a committment to a complete redisgn of our broken tax code and that candidate loses then the battle is lost. If the Republican party puts a weak middle of the road candidate out their and that candidate wins OR loses then the battle is lost.
See I really don’t care as much about whether Obama wins or loses in the second term. I care more about who the Republicans put out there because I fear it will be a weak middle of the road Obama wanna be that will win only to do nothing or make things worse. My true fear is that Obama wins againts a strong libertarian style Republican this is the worse scenario because it means an ideology has lost the debate and America is indeed the land of the stupid. If the Republican’s put a weak middle of the road candidate it just means that perhaps we haven’t lost the debate but our system is hijacked by a bunch of politicians (a la Bush, McCain, Obama, Dodd, etc group) which I think is more likely.

Dude (?), the ojebct of the list is who served and who didn’t, compiled by someone on the left to make the Democrat Party appear to have more Veterans.Maybe that is why WW1, WW2, Korea, Viet Nam and later were included. The overall point being, neither party has the ‘moral highground’ based on who served. Both have Veterans. Besides that, ‘Dude,’ never made a typo yourself?
