As for your main point regarding the changability of Islam. I recognize I could be wrong but I hope that I’m not. Both Surah 5:64 and Surah 13:42 seem to leave a window open for Allah bestowing as he will, and that he can do both good and evil as he is the “master of all scheming”. Also, do Surah 2:106 and 16:101 not provide for abrogation of texts in the Qu’ran?

“None of Our revelations do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but We substitute something better or similar: Knowest thou not that Allah Hath power over all things?” Surah 2: 106

“When We substitute one revelation for another, and Allah knows best what He reveals (in stages), they say, “Thou art but a forger”: but most of them understand not.” Surah 16:101

To me this sounds like the key’s to the evolution of Islam. Do I read them out of context? Please explain.

This is not a forgone conclussion, the winning or losing in the wars.
First, the conversion of the populus from Islam was never the intent of the war. It was to remove hostile threats and regimes.
Second, the fact that Iraqi’s rejected violent jihad in the recent years, allowing for a draw down in troops, is in itself a victory in the war of ideologies.
Third, the new environment in Iraq and Afghanistan is more permiable to alternative worldviews, though admittedly not as open as other nations, it is an improvement from the initial setting. Declaring no immediate rejection of Islam does not suffice. To alter the mind set of an entire populus requires considerable time.

Thankfully and confusingly enough, the Qu’ran is not a closed book Allah is “open to all types of plans”. It’s own text allows for editing and adjustments over time. The Muslims can change their religious text if they so desire. What is confusing to me is why this has not yet been done.

Turn first to 5:3
“…This day, I have perfected your religion for you, …” and 11:1.
Perfection can not be improved, it can only be defiled. Allah explicitly proscribes changing his word and his war cult. 6:115. And the Word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and in justice. None can change His Words. … 30:30. So set you (O Muhammad ) your face towards the religion of pure Islâmic Monotheism Hanifa (worship none but Allâh Alone) Allâh’s Fitrah (i.e. Allâh’s Islâmic Monotheism), with which He has created mankind. No change let there be in Khalq­illâh (i.e. the Religion of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism), that is the straight religion, but most of men know not. [Tafsir At­Tabarî, Vol 21, Page 41] Allah issued an explicit curse upon Muslims who would exchange Jihad for productive agricultural pursuits. See Abu Dawud 23.3455.

Second, we are losing, not winning in Afghanistan & Iraq. So long as they remain Muslim, we have been defeated and can not win. Victory requires the complete extinction of Islam. Anything less guarantees its eventual resurgence and triumph.

Most of the Ummah is descended from victims converted at sword point or under the imposition of Jizya. Only 13% have read the Qur’an in their native tongue.

We must hit them where they live, directly, explicitly, intensely and extensively: with the fact bomb. We must show them, from Islam’s canon of scripture & tradition, the true character of Allah & his messenger; demon and demented, narcissistic pederast, lecher & pirate. We must so shame and disillusion them that they will apostatize in great numbers. Nothing else will crush their supremacism & triumphalism. They must be defeated militarily and spiritually. Allah must be exposed as an impotent idol and Moe must be exposed as a bloodthirsty barbarian.
