President Obama Prostitutes Himself to Islam

June 5, 2009

President Obama spoke in Cairo on June 4th for which I prepared by giving an indepth analysis of Islam and it’s challenge for the western free world.  This speech was worse then I could have imagined.  It was digusting, filled with lies, and worse.  This speech will go down in history as one of the most shameful and terrible speech’s ever to have been given.  I have done this analysis in a short amount of time without even a proof read so I apologize before hand.

However, the speech was so full of lies and junk the analysis of it is pretty easy.  I don’t know what other’s are saying but I look forward to hearing other analysis.  As this speech misrepresented many facts and was dangerous to America and freedom.  His opening was nice and could have been said by anybody.  A very pretty way to proceed with any speech regardless of content.

I am honored to be in the timeless city of Cairo, and to be hosted by two remarkable institutions. For over a thousand years, Al-Azhar has stood as a beacon of Islamic learning, and for over a century, Cairo University has been a source of Egypt’s advancement. Together, you represent the harmony between tradition and progress. I am grateful for your hospitality, and the hospitality of the people of Egypt. I am also proud to carry with me the goodwill of the American people, and a greeting of peace from Muslim communities in my country: assalaamu alaykum.

Immediately though the speech develops severe intellectual problems.

We meet at a time of tension between the United States and Muslims around the world – tension rooted in historical forces that go beyond any current policy debate. The relationship between Islam and the West includes centuries of co-existence and cooperation, but also conflict and religious wars. More recently, tension has been fed by colonialism that denied rights and opportunities to many Muslims, and a Cold War in which Muslim-majority countries were too often treated as proxies without regard to their own aspirations. Moreover, the sweeping change brought by modernity and globalization led many Muslims to view the West as hostile to the traditions of Islam.

The centuries of co-existence and cooperation were only when Islam was under European protectorets.  As for colonialism this has never been something done by America and the difficulties with Islam are not due to “colonialism”.   Also, the shear historical weight of these conflicts in a historical timeline are carried by the Muslim world.  Iran for example has repaid us for using them as a Cold War proxy with 30+ years of terrorism even after this has been repaired.  But Obama’s speech appears to give equal weight to all things.  As for “the West” being “hostile to the traditions of Islam” this is actually true when one looks at their superiority belief, their treatment of non-belivers, their treatment of women, their treatment of Apostates, and their views on Jihad.  To deny this is to lend creduality to these ideologies.

But it doesn’t stop with this. Obama continues to misinform and spew arrogent and dangerous lies that lend credibility to dangerous ideologies and which sideline those like myself that fight for the future freedom of our lives and our posterity.

Violent extremists have exploited these tensions in a small but potent minority of Muslims. The attacks of September 11th, 2001 and the continued efforts of these extremists to engage in violence against civilians has led some in my country to view Islam as inevitably hostile not only to America and Western countries, but also to human rights. This has bred more fear and mistrust.

As I’d pointed out in my analysis of Islam Obama is dangerously lying to the world here when he says it is a “small minority of Muslims”.   Anybody that considers a small group of people to be between 300 million and 600 million small should have their head examined.  Further, the term extremist avoids acknowledging what we are up against.  Extremists could be anybody.  Usually Jihadist Islamic extremists average around 3 killing attacks a day on civilian/non-military targets on the day of Obama’s speech killing attacks increased by 133% which is well documented.  These extremists hold an ideology from which they are taught comes from their religious text.  This ideology is Jihadist Islam, not extremism.   I’m a right-wing extremists as once defined by the Department of Homeland Security.   An extremist is defined as a person outside of a political or social center.  So, here Obama risks either making everybody an “extremist” or making nobody and “extremist” and therefore lending credability to Jihadists as they are grouped in a broad category.

What is truely mind blowing to me is when Obama continues by saying:

So long as our relationship is defined by our differences, we will empower those who sow hatred rather than peace, and who promote conflict rather than the cooperation that can help all of our people achieve justice and prosperity. This cycle of suspicion and discord must end.

The difference that defines Islam and the west is that Islam holds it’s constituents to be unfallen and superior to others.  As it was founded and cannonzied in the height of it’s power it is deeply rooted in a belief of the sword and triumph over their enemies it lacks a basic tenant of love for one’s enemies and caries with it justifications for Jihad.  Therefore, as long as the moderates are silent and America slowly hangs itself on the lies and political correctness of our politicians Islam is the one that is defining things by differences and not America.  Why then is an American President saying this it needs to be the Islamic leaders in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Egypt, etc that  are coming out saying these types of things to us.

Obama further tries to lift up Islam with lies

I have come here to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world; one based upon mutual interest and mutual respect; and one based upon the truth that America and Islam are not exclusive, and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles – principles of justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.

Notice how he proceeds the lies above with flowery speech.  The principles of Justice between Sharia law and our law do not share very many principles.  Our law calls for equality, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, etc.  Sharia law calls for this for Muslims not non-believers. Even Obama’s press escorts in Saudi Arabia were forced to Dhimmi status on this Middle East trip.  Islam is not tolerant of non-believers and it has never been.  These are not characteristics of Islam Obama is lying to Islam trying to give grounds and lend credibility to “extremists”.

While the following is mostly true (except for the lie at the end) it ignores a very important historical component to why this was the case.

As a student of history, I also know civilization’s debt to Islam. It was Islam – at places like Al-Azhar University – that carried the light of learning through so many centuries, paving the way for Europe’s Renaissance and Enlightenment. It was innovation in Muslim communities that developed the order of algebra; our magnetic compass and tools of navigation; our mastery of pens and printing; our understanding of how disease spreads and how it can be healed. Islamic culture has given us majestic arches and soaring spires; timeless poetry and cherished music; elegant calligraphy and places of peaceful contemplation. And throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality.

Islam carried the light of learning in their “Golden Age” after the Caliphate had conquered most of the world by the sword defeating Christian Europe in the Second Crusade and defeating Mongol Asia culturally.  Islam was rich on the plunder of the world.  It also ignores how all of this was given in history.  And that modern Islam in the last 1,000 years had done virtually nothing.

Further, Obama takes a trip down the ridiculous path

I know, too, that Islam has always been a part of America’s story. The first nation to recognize my country was Morocco. In signing the Treaty of Tripoli in 1796, our second President John Adams wrote, “The United States has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Muslims.” And since our founding, American Muslims have enriched the United States. They have fought in our wars, served in government, stood for civil rights, started businesses, taught at our Universities, excelled in our sports arenas, won Nobel Prizes, built our tallest building, and lit the Olympic Torch. And when the first Muslim-American was recently elected to Congress, he took the oath to defend our Constitution using the same Holy Koran that one of our Founding Fathers – Thomas Jefferson – kept in his personal library.

First, Islam hasn’t played a part in America’s “story” of any positive significance, while containing nearly a quater of the worlds population they’ve only won a fraction of the Nobel Prizes (look this up it’s almost sad).  Islam as a religion has been more at odds with the story of America then a part of it.  The pirates Jefferson had to fight, the terrorism of the last decade, the conquest of ancient Christendom, Hamas and Hezzbollah, Iran’s last 30 years of terrorism, etc.  So what, that Thomas Jefferson had a Koran (why does Obama call it Holy?), I have a copy as well.

But where Obama really crosses the line in my opinion is where he basically admits the perfection of Islam and while he isn’t at war against any type of Islamic Jihadist or even terrorism for that matter he is committed to fighting for Islam against negative sterotypes.  Yes, you heard that right in his speech.

So I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed. That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn’t. And I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.

Obama is basically prostituting himself before Islam.  A political whore he perfects Islam as to having no “negative stereotypes” as being allowed for Islam.  He is prepared to fight for Islam against those that would place negative stereotypes on Islam.  Like the fact that 300 to 600 million Muslims are ok with the killing of civilians in a Jihadist nature being a “negative stereotype” I guess Obama takes their side finally?  For what is he prostituting himself?  America why does a whore like this have a popularity rate of 60%?

After his lies and his vow to fight for Islam he goes on to talk about the greatness of America as though our accomplishments and values stand on equal footing.  While equality is one thing America has done A LOT more in a lot less time.  This isn’t to say that Muslim’s couldn’t do the same thing they just haven’t.  So as Obama rant’s on the qualities of America he has also dragged them down in comparing a culture that has had 1400 years to do good and a culture that has had 200 years to do good.  His speech doesn’t fill me with pride but shame that he values America no more then he values Islamic achievement.  Notice he will not fight for those that stereotype American’s while he bows low in his vow to fight for the negative stereotypes of Islam, sad indeed.

But that same principle must apply to Muslim perceptions of America. Just as Muslims do not fit a crude stereotype, America is not the crude stereotype of a self-interested empire. The United States has been one of the greatest sources of progress that the world has ever known. We were born out of revolution against an empire. We were founded upon the ideal that all are created equal, and we have shed blood and struggled for centuries to give meaning to those words – within our borders, and around the world. We are shaped by every culture, drawn from every end of the Earth, and dedicated to a simple concept: E pluribus unum: “Out of many, one.”

Obama goes on to pretend like he is tackling the difficult tensions between the West and Islam.

That does not mean we should ignore sources of tension. Indeed, it suggests the opposite: we must face these tensions squarely. And so in that spirit, let me speak as clearly and plainly as I can about some specific issues that I believe we must finally confront together.

Is he going to confront Islam’s religious doctrine of the unfallen nature of Adam and the fact that Islam was cannonized during the height of their power leading to psychological superiority and doctrinal view that can most likely only be changed through some serious cogniative dissonance and that has further leads to strength their sociological views of the oneness of church and state and therefore into their political views of the design for a global theocratic state, which has often been expressed through their historical views as historical determinism (i.e. Jihad).  Our will he address their doctrinal views of the rule non-Muslims play in their states and socieites.  Or perhaps he is going to take on the simple concept of how they treat Apostates in countries like Iran or Saudi Arabia.  Or instead he is going to be bold and tackle the concept of Jihad!

The first issue that we have to confront is violent extremism in all of its forms.

In Ankara, I made clear that America is not – and never will be – at war with Islam. We will, however, relentlessly confront violent extremists who pose a grave threat to our security. Because we reject the same thing that people of all faiths reject: the killing of innocent men, women, and children. And it is my first duty as President to protect the American people.

Oops! He ignored the source of tension.  Of course the killing of innocent people is wrong.  This is the result of the tension.  What about the source what is the “source of tension”.  After all it was Obama that said we needed to confront the “source of tension”.  His words not mine!  He must have lied.  Maybe he will address it in a minute…

The situation in Afghanistan demonstrates America’s goals, and our need to work together. Over seven years ago, the United States pursued al Qaeda and the Taliban with broad international support. We did not go by choice, we went because of necessity. I am aware that some question or justify the events of 9/11. But let us be clear: al Qaeda killed nearly 3,000 people on that day. The victims were innocent men, women and children from America and many other nations who had done nothing to harm anybody. And yet Al Qaeda chose to ruthlessly murder these people, claimed credit for the attack, and even now states their determination to kill on a massive scale. They have affiliates in many countries and are trying to expand their reach. These are not opinions to be debated; these are facts to be dealt with.

Is this the “source of tension”?  He comes close by saying, “I am aware that some question or justify the events of 9/11.” but then backs of the “source of tension”.  How has al Qaeda, Hezzbollah, Hamas, etc been able to recruit nut job lunatics into their ranks? Why does Saudi Arabia spawn so many of these individuals? Why do 30-40% think the actions of these individuals are justifiable, what is the source for the up to 600 million Muslims being “ok” with this?  I guess Obama didn’t really intend to address the “source of tension”.  But he does need to excuse America’s action.  As though he has to justify our right to us defending ourselves, which I guess after whoring himself to Islam he might need to actually do.

Make no mistake: we do not want to keep our troops in Afghanistan. We seek no military bases there. It is agonizing for America to lose our young men and women. It is costly and politically difficult to continue this conflict. We would gladly bring every single one of our troops home if we could be confident that there were not violent extremists in Afghanistan and Pakistan determined to kill as many Americans as they possibly can. But that is not yet the case.

He continues with this type of ignorant justification of war and obscene lifting up of the “Holy” Koran and Islam.  Until finally he get’s to say something about Iraq, while ignoring it’s successes and in affect apologizing for our actions by talking about the wisdom of diplomacy when we in fact entered a war.

Let me also address the issue of Iraq. Unlike Afghanistan, Iraq was a war of choice that provoked strong differences in my country and around the world. Although I believe that the Iraqi people are ultimately better off without the tyranny of Saddam Hussein, I also believe that events in Iraq have reminded America of the need to use diplomacy and build international consensus to resolve our problems whenever possible. Indeed, we can recall the words of Thomas Jefferson, who said: “I hope that our wisdom will grow with our power, and teach us that the less we use our power the greater it will be.”

Today, America has a dual responsibility: to help Iraq forge a better future – and to leave Iraq to Iraqis. I have made it clear to the Iraqi people that we pursue no bases, and no claim on their territory or resources. Iraq’s sovereignty is its own. That is why I ordered the removal of our combat brigades by next August. That is why we will honor our agreement with Iraq’s democratically-elected government to remove combat troops from Iraqi cities by July, and to remove all our troops from Iraq by 2012. We will help Iraq train its Security Forces and develop its economy. But we will support a secure and united Iraq as a partner, and never as a patron.

Another “source of tension” is Israel.

The second major source of tension that we need to discuss is the situation between Israelis, Palestinians and the Arab world.

He goes on to try and justify Israel and our relatinship and then to compare the Isrealies suffering to the Palistinians suffering.  I guess now the Jew’s are the modern day Nazi’s?!?!

America’s strong bonds with Israel are well known. This bond is unbreakable. It is based upon cultural and historical ties, and the recognition that the aspiration for a Jewish homeland is rooted in a tragic history that cannot be denied.

Around the world, the Jewish people were persecuted for centuries, and anti-Semitism in Europe culminated in an unprecedented Holocaust. Tomorrow, I will visit Buchenwald, which was part of a network of camps where Jews were enslaved, tortured, shot and gassed to death by the Third Reich. Six million Jews were killed – more than the entire Jewish population of Israel today. Denying that fact is baseless, ignorant, and hateful. Threatening Israel with destruction – or repeating vile stereotypes about Jews – is deeply wrong, and only serves to evoke in the minds of Israelis this most painful of memories while preventing the peace that the people of this region deserve.

On the other hand, it is also undeniable that the Palestinian people – Muslims and Christians – have suffered in pursuit of a homeland. For more than sixty years they have endured the pain of dislocation. Many wait in refugee camps in the West Bank, Gaza, and neighboring lands for a life of peace and security that they have never been able to lead. They endure the daily humiliations – large and small – that come with occupation. So let there be no doubt: the situation for the Palestinian people is intolerable. America will not turn our backs on the legitimate Palestinian aspiration for dignity, opportunity, and a state of their own.

To compare the Palestinian’s suffering to Jewish suffering is pretty sad for a “student of history” as Obama claims he is…

Another “source of tension” is the fact we don’t want a bunch of Arab nations carrying nuclear weapons, that we value democracy, we respect women, and we value religous freedom.  I’m not going to address these except religous freedom.  Obama says,

Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance. We see it in the history of Andalusia and Cordoba during the Inquisition. I saw it firsthand as a child in Indonesia, where devout Christians worshiped freely in an overwhelmingly Muslim country. That is the spirit we need today. People in every country should be free to choose and live their faith based upon the persuasion of the mind, heart, and soul. This tolerance is essential for religion to thrive, but it is being challenged in many different ways.

Among some Muslims, there is a disturbing tendency to measure one’s own faith by the rejection of another’s. The richness of religious diversity must be upheld – whether it is for Maronites in Lebanon or the Copts in Egypt. And fault lines must be closed among Muslims as well, as the divisions between Sunni and Shia have led to tragic violence, particularly in Iraq.

Freedom of religion is central to the ability of peoples to live together. We must always examine the ways in which we protect it. For instance, in the United States, rules on charitable giving have made it harder for Muslims to fulfill their religious obligation. That is why I am committed to working with American Muslims to ensure that they can fulfill zakat.

Likewise, it is important for Western countries to avoid impeding Muslim citizens from practicing religion as they see fit – for instance, by dictating what clothes a Muslim woman should wear. We cannot disguise hostility towards any religion behind the pretence of liberalism.

Indeed, faith should bring us together. That is why we are forging service projects in America that bring together Christians, Muslims, and Jews. That is why we welcome efforts like Saudi Arabian King Abdullah’s Interfaith dialogue and Turkey’s leadership in the Alliance of Civilizations. Around the world, we can turn dialogue into Interfaith service, so bridges between peoples lead to action – whether it is combating malaria in Africa, or providing relief after a natural disaster.

Islam has more of a proud tradition of not tolerating non-belivers so Obama again whore’s himself out with covering over the facts of history.  Then he points to King Abdullah’s interfaith dialogue as something of religious freedom.  While Saudi Arabia is still one of the nations that Apostates can be killed for leaving Islam.  Why Obama is holding King Abdullah up as a beacon of Interfaith cooperation is really quite disgusting.

All of us share this world for but a brief moment in time. The question is whether we spend that time focused on what pushes us apart, or whether we commit ourselves to an effort – a sustained effort – to find common ground, to focus on the future we seek for our children, and to respect the dignity of all human beings.

Obama seems ready to lie to find common ground.  How lying to find common ground and actually finding true common ground would be different I don’t know.  I agree with what Obama says here, but I disagree that lying to find common ground is the right path to take and I don’t think prostituting oneself for Islam in order to call for peace is the right path to take.  I’m not yet ready like Obama is for America to become the wife of Islam.  Islam needs to make this sustained effort as well before we take this leap.  Telling by the Moderate Muslim’s silence at particular parts in Obama’s speech I’d say they are not yet ready for this “sustained effort”.

Obama has dangerously sold America short and lifted up Islam.  He ignores the true “sources of tension” between the West and Islam while prostituting himself before them at our expense.
